Josef Albers was a German-born American artist, Bauhaus educator and Black Mountain College teacher born in 1888. He is known as one of the greatest exponents of the use and study of Color. His most renowned book Interaction of Color(1963) has been republished several times since and his theory remains fully in force. Albers and his theory of color were one of the sources of inspiration for The Happysads collection by Bobo Choses.
